Although we recommend using file names and directories without special characters, the reality is that in Finland, special characters such as "å", "ä", and "ö" are widely used. This is especially important to consider in the world of integration, where file names and directory paths may contain these characters.

We propose updating the SFTP tasks to support file paths containing special characters. This enhancement would expand the task's usability in Finnish environments and facilitate file handling with natural names. Adding UTF-8 character set support to the task would ensure that special characters are handled correctly, improving the user experience and making the product more attractive to customers who require this feature.

Additionally, Cobalt tasks have supported special characters, meaning there is no straightforward solution for converting from Cobalt tasks if this support is not implemented. By adding this feature, we ensure a smoother transition for users migrating from Cobalt tasks.
