Antivirus scan files

There are multiple files being uploaded via Frends HTTP or API -trigger as byte arrays and they're being saved to file system or passed on as is. There is no way of knowing whether or not those files are secure. Are there any 3rd party libraries that would provide virus scanning capabilities? Could those be utilized to create a file-virus-scanning task which would return just the info whether the file is secure or not (according to the rules of the library in question of course) ... ?
